Italian Heritage with Dario

Born in Italy, Dario Monni grew up making pasta with his nonna in Venice and spending summers among his family’s shepherds and cheesemakers in Sardinia. Today, he brings those traditions to Chicago’s Tortello, recognized with a Michelin Bib Gourmand and Gambero Rosso honors. On this trip to Sicily, Dario returns to the regional food culture that shaped him.
