Michelin-starred restaurateur, Rose Previte & award-winning journalist, David Greene
It’s lunchtime in the dry Atlas Mountains. You lift the lid off the clay tagine, sending plumes of steam scented with harissa and cinnamon into the arid afternoon air. The aromas take you back to the busy mayhem of the Fes medina, where you first experienced the buzz of Moroccan commerce, sweetened by cups of mint tea. In the coming days, you’ll mix spices with a master in Marrakech, and wander the painterly paths of Yves Saint Laurent’s gardens before tucking into a sumptuous evening feast. This is Morocco in full color, a dazzling mecca where culture and geography collide; where traditions are at once etched in stone — and renewed with every sunrise.

3 Reasons to Travel with Rose Previte and David Greene
Rose Previte is a Michelin-starred restaurateur whose DC restaurants have earned effusive praise from Food & Wine, Bon Appétit and GQ. Her husband David Greene is an award-winning journalist, bestselling author and NPR Morning Edition host from 2012-2021. Together, they've explored 30 countries, and lingered for a lover’s goodbye in Morocco as David awaited entry to Libya to cover the Arab Spring. Next June, they’ll join us in Casablanca as we seek and share stories in Fes, the High Atlas, and Marrakech.

A Gathering of Sorts
Rose named her restaurants Maydan and Medina — words for gathering places in Africa, Ukraine, India and the Middle East. Her richly textured dining rooms hold space for deep conversations and heady celebrations. Next summer, she’ll take that spirit on the road for a week of meals, stories and conversations around Moroccan tables.
Storyteller at Heart
If you’ve ever heard David on the radio, you’re familiar with his keen storytelling, wry humor and personal, nuanced reporting of world news. Rose takes a similar approach in her restaurants, offering thoughtful plates where the flavors transport diners far away lands and cultures.
Go There Already
Rose and David created Go There Wines to share stories and vintages of unknown winemakers (often women of color) and lesser-known wine regions. But “going there” extends beyond the wine; this couple travels with their eyes turned toward truths — happy and uncomfortable ones — and a mission to share those truths with the world, in work and play.

We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance as we are not able to make exceptions to this policy in cases of family/medical emergency or of the trip being canceled (see our Terms and Conditions for full details).
