Internationally Acclaimed Chef, Ludo Lefebvre
Dew-glazed vineyards. Check. Storybook hamlets. Those too. As your e-bike climbs even higher, the clouds give way to reveal Les-Baux-de-Provence, a medieval village, (still inaccessible by car) home to startling Renaissance facades and hotels that date back to the 16th century. Later today, you’ll stand in awe as works of Van Gogh, Dali, and Cezanne dazzle the limestone faces of a former quarry, an immersive art museum unlike any other in the world. Just yesterday, at a family-run vineyard with roots stretching back centuries, you met the producers and savored wines recognized among the most renowned in France. This is Provence for all five senses. Epiphanies await.

3 Reasons to Travel with Ludo Lefebvre
Born in Burgundy and shaped by summers in the South of France, Chef Ludo Lefebvre grew up surrounded by the rhythms of family meals, where food, wine, and laughter stretched for hours. Trained in the legendary three-star kitchens of Pierre Gagnaire, Alain Passard, and Guy Martin, Ludo brought his mastery to Los Angeles, where he redefined the city’s dining scene. He gained fame as the “pop-up king” with his trailblazing LudoBites concept and later opened acclaimed restaurants Trois Mec and Petit Trois, recognized by the James Beard Foundation and Michelin Guide. Beyond his culinary expertise, Ludo is a recipient of the prestigious Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres—the highest arts-related honor given by the French government recognizing those who have made significant contributions to the arts, culture, or literature in France and around the world. Known for his vibrant passion and flair, Ludo’s cooking reflects his deep French roots and his love for life’s most delicious moments.

Family Ties
For Chef Ludo, food is life, a philosophy rooted in his childhood spent around the table with family. Inspired by his grandmother, a devotion to fresh ingredients, and joyful meals, Ludo’s trip to Provence promises this same spirit—sharing unforgettable moments of laughter and flavor, whether dining in restaurants, picnicking by the sea, or savoring Provençal delights on a boat.
Best of Both Worlds
Chef Ludo blends the rigor of classic French Michelin-starred training with the creative, free-flowing energy of Los Angeles. He celebrates this perfect pairing, exploring new ideas and crafting dishes that honor both his traditional roots and his innovative spirit. With him, you can expect impeccable execution, a love for world cuisines, and dishes filled with dialogue and heart.
Ludo’s Rules
From rebellious beginnings to mastering the discipline of three-starred kitchens, Chef Ludo Lefebvre has always stayed true to himself. His approach combines a relentless pursuit of excellence with a focus on family and fun. In Provence, this philosophy comes alive in every dish that reminds us to embrace life’s pleasures.
I've been telling so many people about the trip ever since I got back. Looking forward to another one!
It really was the trip of a lifetime. Perfectly curated and balanced, we did more than I ever would have organized myself... delightful from start to finish.
Unique experiences, well-organized, outstanding leadership and service.
Where We Sleep

Our elegant accommodations strike the perfect balance between luxury and intimacy, all delivered with incomparable Provençal hospitality.
On rare occasions, our hotels will change. Our standards for luxury and authenticity will not.
InterContinental Hôtel Dieu
MarseillesHoused in the majestic 18th-century Hôtel Dieu, a landmark designed by Louis XIV's own architect, this sumptuous property is accented with fragments of Roman mosaics and swirling wrought-iron staircases. Perched on a hill between the Vieux Port and the historic Panier district, it’s also an improbable oasis in the heart of bustling Marseilles, where the only sound you’ll hear is gentle chiming of bells from a nearby church. The hotel has all the comforts you'd expect, plus some you may not—the city's finest views from the outdoor terrace, and a mosaic swimming pool inspired by traditional Provençal fountains.

Hotel Le Saint-Remy
Saint-Rémy-de-ProvenceThis 5-star mansion is quintessential Provence. Elegant, irreverent and located perfectly in the city center, the lobby and courtyard have the feel of a 19th-century square. Relax in the spa or simply eavesdrop on the slow tranquility of this hamlet that inspired Van Gogh.
