You’re sailing down a towering limestone calanque, turquoise waters shimmering against golden beaches and narrow fjord-like cliffs. Yesterday, alongside one of France’s revered chefs, you prepared an aromatic French-North African feast; tomorrow, at a family-run vineyard with roots stretching back centuries, you’ll meet the producers and savor wines recognized among the most renowned in France. This is Provence, timeless muse to artists, with its signature fields of scarlet poppies, its ancient vineyards and quiet medieval villages. This is the France you’ve been dreaming of.

3 Reasons to Travel with Nina Compton
Chef Nina rolls with a certain je ne sais quoi sort of gravitas. Food & Wine and Esquire both hailed her New Orleans restaurant Compère Lapin as one of the most important openings of the 21st Century; the James Beard Foundation named her the Best Chef in the South in 2018. The list goes on, but we love her passion for living, which seems to view each day as an open invite to connect, and we’re beyond ready to recharge and unwind with her at the height of the Provençal harvest next fall.

Coast to Coast
Nina grew up on hyper-local French-inflected coastal fare —and warm, life-loving Caribbean hospitality— in St. Lucia. She’s carried that into her life on the Gulf Coast, and together we’ll seek out the freshest, finest fish in Marseille and beyond, finding joy in the catching — and the sharing that ensues.
The Village Voice
Provence is a world unto itself; small-town vibes pervade. When in France, Nina loves diving into community life—chatting with a cheesemaker about where to buy bread or asking the baker who makes the sweetest olive oil. Those connections drive her work as a chef and make her a rare joy to travel with.
Joie De Vivre
For Chef Nina, food is a way to express love: of a butcher or plum farmer pouring endless hours into their trade; of a community that nurtures pride in its local culinary lore. Is there a better lens with which to wander, eat and drink in the best of this beautiful region?
I've been telling so many people about the trip ever since I got back. Looking forward to another one!
It really was the trip of a lifetime. Perfectly curated and balanced, we did more than I ever would have organized myself... delightful from start to finish.
Unique experiences, well-organized, outstanding leadership and service.
Where We Sleep

Our elegant accommodations strike the perfect balance between luxury and intimacy, all delivered with incomparable Provençal hospitality.
On rare occasions, our hotels will change. Our standards for luxury and authenticity will not.
InterContinental Hôtel Dieu
MarseillesHoused in the majestic 18th-century Hôtel Dieu, a landmark designed by Louis XIV's own architect, this sumptuous property is accented with fragments of Roman mosaics and swirling wrought-iron staircases. Perched on a hill between the Vieux Port and the historic Panier district, it’s also an improbable oasis in the heart of bustling Marseilles, where the only sound you’ll hear is gentle chiming of bells from a nearby church. The hotel has all the comforts you'd expect, plus some you may not—the city's finest views from the outdoor terrace, and a mosaic swimming pool inspired by traditional Provençal fountains.

Hotel Le Saint-Remy
Saint-Rémy-de-ProvenceThis 5-star mansion is quintessential Provence. Elegant, irreverent and located perfectly in the city center, the lobby and courtyard have the feel of a 19th-century square. Relax in the spa or simply eavesdrop on the slow tranquility of this hamlet that inspired Van Gogh.
