Why Tokyo

A hub of innovation, fashion, and pop culture. A place where ancient shrines stand in harmony beside towering skyscrapers. Tokyo is all of these things and so much more. From the bustling markets of Tsukij and the neon-lit streets of Shinjuku to the serenity of Ueno Park and the tranquil corridors of Meiji Shrine, Tokyo is one of the most compelling cities on Earth.

Moments That Matter

Our access in Japan’s capital is as boundless as the city’s appetite for innovation and growth. Not only will we visit the studios of generational artists, but we’ll revel in the artistry of nuanced meals at world-renowned Michelin-starred restaurants and hidden alleyway izakayas. In addition to art and cuisine culture, we’ll engage with pioneers of the tech sector and explore the legacy of community with politicians on the ground.

Your Private Experience

Who It’s For

We cater to groups looking for profound immersive experiences in Tokyo—whether that's an exclusive deep dive into cuisine culture or a restorative onsen experience on the outskirts of the city.

When to Travel

Our favorite times of year are early spring with brilliant cherry blossoms and sunny skies and autumn with gorgeous foliage and crisp, comfortable weather.

Make It Yours

A whole day intensive with the capital's civic leaders? An immersive workshop in the art of the Japanese tea ceremony? We can craft a retreat that highlights everything you hope to experience in Japan.

Where We Sleep

We blend the luxurious, modern world with ryokan-style rooms of tatami mats and sliding doors. And it all comes with a restoring dose of Japanese shibui, that notion of striking a peaceful harmony with nature.

Tokyo

Here, time passes gently and the cityscape outside feels a world away. Our hotels in Tokyo run on high art, floor-to-ceiling views of the dazzling city, and all the exhilaration you'd expect in the heart of nightlife, theater and shopping.
