Experience the flavors and traditions of Piedmont & Northern Italy
Our Piedmont experience will travel in October 2022
Heart of Piedmont from Turin to Bra, Gavi, Langhe and Asti
You step onto a terrace and look out at the expanse of vineyards, noting the shades of green that paint the hillsides and Alps in the distance. Flavors linger in your mouth, from sparkling wine harvested from the nearby vineyards, truffles sniffed out by dogs as you cheered them on, fresh herbs and artisan coffee. Here in Piedmont, it’s not uncommon for every dish, and each precious ingredient, to have its own story and local heritage. It’s part of the ethical ‘Slow Food’ culture born in the region and threaded eloquently through all of northern Italy. You take another sip, appreciative of your time with people who know food etiquette is about far more than silverware placement—it’s about responsibility and reverence to the region, to landscape and ingredients, and to tradition.
If you love fine wines and exquisite regional cuisine, this trip to Piedmont and northern Italy is for you. If you consider yourself a foodie or are fascinated by how landscape and history shape a bottle of local Barolo or Barbaresco, you’ll relish every minute. Meet winemakers and artisans whose generations-old techniques reflect the region’s authentic heritage. This is Italy like you’ve never experienced.
With the true flavors of Piedmont: white truffles, agnolotti pasta and aged Gorgonzola, rich panna cotta and crisp Cortese di Gavi
Meet local chefs and winemakers, producers and artisans who've worked in harmony with the land for centuries
In style! If you crave good food, beautiful scenery and luxurious comfort, this is the Piedmont experience you've been waiting for
Slow Food is about keeping traditions and cultures alive: good, clean and fair.

We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. Travel insurance allows you to seek reimbursement for your trip costs; if your trip plans change for unforeseeable reasons, or if you need to get medical help, emergency transport, and for theft, loss or damage of items while traveling. For best coverage, always insure the full trip cost within two weeks of your initial trip deposit and note that most 'Cancel For Any Reason' policies must be purchased on the date of your initial deposit.
